Joseph A. Benjamin, CPA, CFP, MST is a business consultant with over thirty years of extensive public accounting experience dealing with audits and tax planning for closely held companies. His specialty is executive financial consulting, including compensation arrangements, comprehensive asset analysis, and retirement and estate planning considerations for professionals and wealthy individuals.
David B. Birkenstein, CPA, JD has been practicing in the public accounting profession for over forty years. He has been involved in all aspects of public accounting, specializing in business consultation, income tax matters, tax and estate planning.
Ryan A. Hirsch, CPA is a senior accountant with over seven years of public accounting experience. His duties include supervising audits of closely-held businesses and reviewing tax returns for both businesses and individuals. In his career, Ryan has also worked on various other client engagements and has gained experience in the industries of construction, manufacturing, wholesale grocery and diverting, and investment management companies. Ryan graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2003 with his Bachelors of Science and Masters in Accounting.
Patricia A. Walker is a payroll supervisor with the firm. She has worked in the accounting profession for over twenty years. She is responsible for processing and overseeing close to 35 business payroll clients. Her responsibilities also include responding to IRS notices, preparation of Department of Labor reports and other light accounting work.
Caleb D. Lendy joined the firm in 2010, after he graduated with a B.B.A in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago, Summa Cum Laude. As a staff accountant with the firm, his responsibilities include financial statement preparation engagements, and tax compliance services for individuals and small businesses spanning various industries.
Sophie J. Palak-Lopez has worked as an office administrator reporting to managing partners in the accounting profession for more than twenty years. As office manager of our firm, her responsibilities include monitoring the human resource needs of the firm, client billing, preparation of client and government letters and monitoring of the firms continuing education requirements along with a wide range of other administrative duties.
